Nowadays many Covid-19 patients isolated at home in the Capital of the City are crossing the country offering relief from the growing demand for beds and ICUs but there has been a major problem of collective medical waste collection. Currently, most people live alone at home but the company can collect medical waste at least a number of these patients daily. According to the guidelines, medical waste for Covid patients isolated at home should be collected in double discarded plastic bags that can be followed by the guidelines set by the CPCB. Garbage collection agencies should provide patients with bags for safe collection, transportation and disposal. However, in the absence of adequate collection, home-segregated patients dispose of waste in random areas or mix it with standard waste collected by the sanitation organization.
